  17. Hello and welcome to another edition of the D.B.A. diskmagazine. Read all
  18. of the text first, before you proceed !
  19.  
  20. D.B.A. diskmagazine is Public Domain and may freely be distributed all over
  21. the globe and beyond. For further details read the Colophon article in the
  22. magazine.

  25. IMPORTANT NOTES COMING UP :

  27. Before you boot this magazine there a couple of rules you have to take
  28. in consideration first,
  29.

  31. BOOTING

  34. * Remember, this diskmagazine is FALCON only !
  35.  
  36. * Boot your Falcon WITHOUT any resident programs !  Hold down the 
  37.   CONTROL key to do so.
  38.  
  39. * D.B.A. diskmagazine doesn't run safely with NVDI or other software
  40.   accelerators nor does it work reliable with hardware accelerators 
  41.   (i.e. the music crashes or worse) !

  44. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  45. ----------------------

  47. * D.B.A. Magazine runs from the harddrive with about 3.6 Mb free space to
  48.  install and requires min. 3.6 Mb of free memory ( the more the better !) 
  49.  
  50. * You will have to create a folder named DBAMAG12 (use the pulldown menu
  51.   or press F on the keyboard and type the folder name). 
  52.  
  53. * Copy all the folders from disk 1 and 2 in it. (they are not Zipped, only
  54.   the GOODIES are.)
  55.  
  56.   ** They aren't ZippeD this time because it wouldn't fit on one disk and
  57.      on two disks we had enough space to leave them un-ZippeD.**
  58.       
  59. * Run the INSTALL program *FIRST* before you run the DBAMAG12.PRG !!
  60.  
  61. * The INSTALL program will create a FILE.DAT file (configurates itself
  62.   to your machine) so there nothing to worry about ...
  63.   Without the FILE.DAT file the magazine won't work !!!!!

  65. * Now run DBAMAG12.PRG and have fun ...

  69. All the programs and demo's are in the folder GOODIES which you can't
  70. see in the magazine...

  72. Please spread the diskmagazine in it's original state !

  74. The D.B.A. has attempted to make the shell as userfriendly as possible. 
  75. Should you be the kind of person who can't even operate a lightswitch 
  76. then there is the HELP function. Just press the <HELP> key or click 
  77. on the HELP button in the main-menu ! Anyway look at the HELP function
  78. anyway as the magazine may contain more features than you expect !
  79. This is the 99% complete version of the new magazine shell. There are some
  80. small things (as always because you're never ready) to adjust so if you
  81. find anything or even a bug please drop us a letter.  This new shell 
  82. handels almost the same as the old one (the one that has been copied by
  83. others so much that it probably made a standard !) so enjoy yourself.
